Welcome to Legacy's Ministock!
We are a small farm located in east central Ohio. We are passionate about our
animals (okay-all animals!) and are dedicated to raising the highest quality
ministock at the most affordable prices possible. We currently breed AMHA/AMHR
registered miniature horses, miniature Sicilian donkeys, AGS/ADGA registered
Nigerian Dwarf goats, and Pygmy goats. We have raised goats since 1995 and
added Nigerians in 2004. I have had horses for the past 28 years and my husband
and I began raising mini horses in 1996. We are current members of the American
Goat Society, American Dairy Goat Association, American Miniature Horse Registry,
and American Miniature Horse Association.
Herd health is vital in breeding high quality animals. All
of our animals are current on vaccinations and are on strict schedules for
deworming and hoof trimming. Another key to heard health is early detection
of any illness. We stress the importance of being a good herdsman and spending
plenty of time with your animals each day so that you know when they are not
acting like themselves.
Our miniature horse herd is sired by a 29" black pinto stallion with Buckaroo bloodlines and a 30" red roan pinto stallion with blue eyes who is both a grandson of Little King Supreme and Dell Tera's Moon Man.
Our Nigerian herd carries
many of the best bloodlines in the breed. It includes daughters
of ARMCH Trillium, Kingwood, MCH/CH Zinnia, MCH Instant Replay, and
MCH Bay Watch; and sons of ARMCH Tom Thumb/ARMCH Water Lilly, MCH
Bay Watch, MCH Blue Thunder/MCH Midsummernitedream, ARMCH Luck of the Draw
and MCH Weisbaden/MCH/CH Zinnia. Our
herd is heavily influenced by two time AGS National Champion MCH/PGCH
Twink's Pixie with approximately two -thirds of it presently carrying
her blood including two grandsons and one granddaughter. We
feel extremely fortunate to have all of these animals and extend
our gratitude to everyone who helped us get off to such a strong
start!
